The calendar year ended with an uptick in the Used Car Market.  According to CNW research, Used Vehicle Sales climbed 4% over December of 2012 to finish the year ahead for the pre-owned market.

Of the total sales, franchised dealers represented 37% of the sales, independents 34% and private sellers were 28%.

Over one-fourth of all vehicles sold were between 1 and 5 years old says CNW.
