The Birmingham chapter of the American Advertising Federation (AAFB) has announced the winners of its annual Ten Awards, and two SAM team members are among them.
Katie Reeves has won the Media Planning Award, and Jason Clauer has won Salesperson of the Year. This marks this third consecutive year that Strong Automotive Merchandising employees have taken home trophies from the Ten Awards. The SAM media department includes several previous winners of the Media Planning Award.
Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the ceremony took place via Zoom this year. In lieu of food and drink spending, AAFB has donated $1,000 to the Central Alabama Food Bank.
AAFB describes its Ten Awards as follows:
“Each year, we recognize creative excellence with the ADDY Awards. And, again this year, we recognize the crucial—and too often unsung—sales and service side of the industry with the Ten Awards.

The annual awards recognize exceptional advertising professionals in 10 categories: Business leader of the year, account services, media planning, public relations, production, social media, salesperson of the year, junior of the year, student of the year, and AAFB service.
