Don’t Panic – but with book values still steadily climbing, don’t get caught in the high gas trap. Keep a very close eye in the next 15 days on what you are trading for in used cars and what you are buying from auctions.  
 
If gas approaches $3.00 again in this year, trucks and SUVs (especially domestics) could drop like rocks.
